The University of Manchester is conducting an international comparative study of how working parents with children aged 0- 12 in the UK, Finland and the Netherlands organize child-care. This is an increasingly pressing issue in a 24-hour economy where more and more parents have to work flexible hours or evenings, nights and weekends. University of Manchester are conducting an online survey, exploring how parents’ working hours impact their child-care arrangements, the spousal relationship and child well-being.
Filling in the survey will take about 20-30 minutes. All answers are anonymous. The survey questionnaire can be accessed through the University of Manchester’s project website www.manchester.ac.uk/families24-7
The survey will remain open until 20 December 2012 and if you have any questions about the study, please contact Dr Vanessa May at the University of Manchester vanessa.may@manchester.ac.uk
