Zoe has something of a dilemma. She clearly loves Steve, but may have thought that the days of sleepless nights and nappies were long gone. It is a big decision for a woman to have a baby when she already has teenagers. For Steve it may seem obvious that he would like a child of his own, and that it is an easy decision for Zoe.

• How do you think a new child would affect the family dynamics--do you think Zoe is right to want to consult her children?
•  How do you think it might affect Zoe and Steve 's relationship if the children think a brother or sister is a bad idea?
• How easy do you think it would be for Steve to treat all three children the same?
• Would it matter if he treated his own child differently from Richie and Chloe?
